Gods

Gods are a form of consolidated power in Buhukiea, like the former Titans. Gods represent a less primal view of certain ideas and aspects, and often control a more abstract concept rather than something like fire, in the case of Rakarn. The title of 'god' is transferable. If another being demonstrates a higher understanding and finesse of the concept in question, the title will automatically go to that individual. This happened in the case of the Ascended, and vaguely in the case with Haeihlseth Magayak.

Gods and certain abilities (incomplete):

  • Ra - God of the Sun and 'Power' in an abstract sense. Sometimes referred to as the God of Fire in reference.
    • Can deem certain stars to be 'suns' thereby blessing it with Ramuchian crystals.
    • Figure head, considered a leader of the religious pantheon.
    • Patron of Hayelon the Guardian.
    • Has a strong connection with the Universe.
    • The Tyra Tarkush sound 'ra' and his name are tied as he is the deity of power in a potential sense.
  • The Ascended - God of Knowledge and Thought
    • Holds back most of his power. The true extent of his abilities is something that Buhukiea is ignorant of.
  • Haeihlseth Magayak - God of Magic
    • Complete mastery over magic.
    • Technically did not defeat the God of Magic in a duel of Magic. Gained true immortality and bludgeoned the previous God of Magic into surrendering.
  • Osiris/Isis - God(dess) of Life/Death. Sometimes referred to as 'God' regardless of Life/Death, depending on the gender ideal association of the speaker with the particular aspect. Technically the same being.
    • Life aspect: Great healing powers. Able to rejuvenate others and bless beings with life.
    • Death aspect: Powers over decay, disease, and degeneration. Can impart death and control its passing.
      • Does not have complete control over death. That power is distributed between multiple parties, including the Grim Reaper.
    • Healing and disease are their general domain. Patrons of healers and bioweapon specialists. They are why healers are also capable killers: recognition of the duality in these deities.
  • Usana - Goddess of Dimensions
    • Currently missing.
    • Typically personified by a slender being wielding a bow and arrow that can slice through the fabric of reality.
    • Domain is Kolaq'blegae zf Ruksh, or the dimension of the lost.
    • Controls the passing between dimensions and the fabric that ties them.
  • Ganesh - God of Obstacles and 'fate' in a minor sense.
    • Can alter luck and give easier passage.
  • Hades - God of the Underworld
    • Relatively minor god. Is not on good terms with Zeus. Exiled to a lowly position with limited abilities.
    • Can resurrect those who come to his domain of Tartarus.
    • Has companions in a three-headed dog named Cerberus and a ferry-man Charon.
  • Zeus - God of Control/Organization/Bureaucracy
    • Has power over other gods.
    • 'Control' is in reference to organization and political hierarchy. Worshipped by bureaucrats.
    • A more direct leader, as opposed to Ra.
  • Yin/Yang - Gods/Goddesses of Dark and Light.
    • Their 'godly' aspect is very minor as they are of a primal force. They hardly exist in a coherent sense. The majority of their power resides in the Staves of Dark and Light that are wielded by the Avatars of Dark and Light.
    • They are prayed to and referenced only to offer praise and honor the forces of Dark and Light. They have little control over their respective domains, as they gave up that power long ago to the Avatars of Dark and Light. There is the thought they can seize it back at will, another reason they are sometimes revered.
  • Anubis – God of Burial and Ruins
    • Has ‘Scions’ and servants that patrol specific ruins that need guarding.
    • Prayed to by Dracite to prevent being turned into a Drake.
